La cueva de Coventosa esta situada en el termino municipal de Arredondo, Cantabria. Coventosa es una de las cavidades más conocidas de Cantabria.
El sistema cueto-coventosa con más de 32 kilometros de desarrollo y 830 metros de desnivel es una de las travesías subterráneas más conocidas de la zona.
una de Sus zonas más visitadas son la sala de los fantasmas situada cerca de la entrada ,para llegar a esta sala necesitaremos hacer un pequeño rapel sobre una colada.
Otra zona muy visitada es la fotogënica marmita con su agua de color esmeralda. en definitiva coventosa es una de esas grandes cavidades que es necesario visitar en muchas ocasiones para poder fotografiar todos sus rincones.

Coventosa es una de esas cuevas en las cuales podemos encontrar todo tipo de espeleotemas, además de un lago y río subterráneo. En conclusión una cueva que ningún espeleologo debería perderse.
